Helping hands

It is frustrating to live so far away from the earthquake and have plenty of food and water in my house and know that their are many who are in need. We have some friends who live in the area and they were able to deliver supplies to villagers with money that many of us all across China have been sending to our sister school. The staff from the school ask for your prayers as many are experiencing dizziness/vertigo/headaches.

We are safe

We have been hearing from a lot of you asking if we felt the earth quake. We live as far from the epicenter as California is from New York. So, no, we did not physically feel it but emotionally we are sad as we here the reports coming from that area. Quite a few of us that work in Tianjin have friends that work there. All of the ones we know are safe but on edge as aftershocks kept the ground shaking for three days after. Our kids are almost done with school and it will be relaxing for us to leave China and visit my family for a month this summer.

Bria

At 14 Brianna has already started working on the course and helping people through. She has become so used to being up in the trees that she has no fear of being way up with the birds. Last week she worked the course for 4 hours helping a group through.

Workers

The project would not be completed without the hard work of our Chinese crew.

High four

We just finished a new element at the site and the kids got to try it out with some friends last week. It is a combination of team work and trust. The first picture is the practice on the ground. In theory your team should be able to do the same once high above the ground. To get down you let go and then fall backwards. That's the best part!!!
