Someone pointed out there was not a picture of me on the site so I looked though the ones i had (which was not many) and had to pick this one because at my age we love the head shots. :0

This is the journey of our family in China. Just like the leaves have changed with every season, so have we. My favorite season is fall and my favorite color of leaves is red. And in China the red is beautiful! Look at the first post and you will see why.

- The world has changed since as a family we moved overseas 20 years ago, and of course we have too. I left America to move to Sweden with a husband and a little girl and now a family of 5 calls China home. In all the days of mixed up languages and cultures I have learned that if we love as Jesus loves there are no barriers and His love is boundless!!
10 other things I have learned in China
- Learning Chinese is difficult!!!!!!!!!!
- The sound of the alarm in the car outside my window. I heard it everynight for two weeks during Chinese New Year. The fireworks set it off. It goes something like; whir whir whir, beep beep beep, waahh wahh wahh, wee wee wee. AND then it starts over again.
- Not to use the mirrors when I drive. There is enough going on in front of me.
- Learning Chinese is difficult!!!!!
- Chinese Mc Donalds do not super size.
- How to cross a street while avoiding three cars, 12 bikes, 8 pedestrains,11 scooters and 3 dogs.
- The Great wall is still great even after I have been there 9 times.
- Chinese are perseverant and patient.
- How to order food with hand and body motions. You should see Ric's impersonation of chicken.
- And did I mention LEARNING CHINESE IS DIFFICULT!!!!!!!!!!

Hey cousin! Seeing you from here in Ohio. I should be studying...but this is INFINITELY more interesting. Great pics - nice running editorial.
FYI - you look great but I do relate to the picture focus being a bit higher as I get older too.
